This modern Tukutuku panel speaks of the creation story as Te Kore dwells within the centre. From there, depicted through a Raperape pattern, Te Pō and Te Ao flow and dance alongside each other through time and space. 

Standing guard on top and bottom, depicted through a Kaokao pattern represents tangata whenua through time, aligning through Wairua, protecting and serving, nurturing and guiding, standing strong in both Masculine and Feminine flow.
