This modern Tukutuku Panel represents the above Whakatauki, of family unity, hospitality, and in some cases alliance. Through the hard times, it takes the coming together of individuals and parties to overcome any obstacle. 

Depicted in the Tukutuku Panel, the 2 Food Baskets stand strong, allowing for the union to be created. 

Next to each Food Basket, is a Patiki / Flounder representing the hospitality and resourcefulness of families, to provide abundance for all.
