Whaia te iti kahurangi: Shoot for the stars

HANDCRAFTED TO ORDER

Each tukutuku panel is individually handcrafted by Toi Manawa Studios.

Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for production before dispatch. Delivery time is additional.

Whaia te iti kahurangi. Ki te tuohu koe, me he maunga teitei.

Shoot for the stars. If you miss or fall short, let it be to a loft mountain.

This whakatauki is a message to strive for success, go after what you treasure most, achieve your goals. If they don't go your way, atleast you'll land closer than when you started.

This modern tukutuku panel depicts this with the representation of the maunga in a Poutama pattern, and the stars displayed above.

To empower the process of goals and envisioning the future, Matariki rests above the maunga to allow for the path to be clear and precise.
